Editorial Policy

This policy explains how public deal information is selected, organized, checked, updated, and corrected on Deal Marketplace.

Last updated: July 12, 2026

Source-based publishing

Articles are built from public marketplace listings and available product information. Common source facts include product descriptions, categories, prices, comparison values, ratings, review counts, feature summaries, availability signals, and source URLs.

Structured summaries

We may rewrite and organize source facts into consistent sections such as an executive summary, key features, pricing, integrations, deal terms, review signals, company context, and frequently asked questions. This structure is intended to improve readability, not to imply first-hand product testing where none occurred.

Selection and ranking

Products may be ordered using imported marketplace rank, category, rating, review count, availability, or recency signals. Placement does not guarantee quality, suitability, or continued availability. Sponsored placement will be identified when applicable.

Verification standard

  • Preserve a link to the original listing whenever available.
  • Distinguish imported facts from general explanatory context.
  • Avoid claiming hands-on testing unless testing actually occurred.
  • State that prices, limits, ratings, and terms can change.
  • Use cautious language when source information is incomplete.

Artificial intelligence and automation

Automation or AI-assisted tools may help organize, summarize, or format public source data. Material pages remain subject to the same accuracy, disclosure, and correction standards. AI-assisted text is not treated as independent evidence about a product.

Advertising and affiliate relationships

Advertising or affiliate compensation may support the site. It does not guarantee favorable coverage, prevent corrections, or convert a third-party claim into a verified fact. See the Affiliate Disclosure.

Corrections

When a material factual error is confirmed, we may correct or clarify the relevant page. Vendors and readers can submit the page URL, disputed statement, and authoritative supporting source through the Contact page.

Updates and archived information

Marketplace facts can become outdated between updates. An article may remain available for reference after a deal changes or ends, but readers should rely on the source page for current purchase terms.
